Terms of Agreement: These Terms of Agreement (hereafter Terms) describe the standards and policies at Tranquil Inn & Spa LLC (hereafter TIS). By making a reservation with TIS, the Renter (hereafter Guest or Guests) hereby agrees to abide by all Terms. For questions or clarifications, please contact the owner, manager, innkeeper (hereafter Innkeeper or TIS).
Reservations: Confirmed reservations require a deposit and a completed Guest Information page and signed Terms of Agreement. A two (2) night minimum stay may be required for weekends, i.e., Friday and Saturday, holidays, or special events. Innkeeper reserves the right to cancel any reservation, at any time, with full refund of any money paid by Guests.
Payment: A credit card number is required at the time of booking to confirm a reservation. The credit card will be swiped upon arrival. Payment can also be made online through using the Intuit Payment Network link on the invoice.
Cancellations: Any cancellations should be made at least 30 days prior to the arrival date. Cancellations made between 29 days and prior to 72 hours of arrival date will result in 50% of the invoice total and a $25 cancellation fee being charged to the credit card number on file. If the room is able to be rented during that period only the $25 cancellation fee will apply. Cancellations made within the 72 hours of arrival date will forfeit the entire invoiced amount. However, the reservation may be changed (1) one time, if done prior to 14 days, and will incur no additional fees. There will be NO REFUNDS for shortened stays; you must pay for what you book. Should it become necessary for us to cancel a booking we will contact you immediately. Any payments made will be refunded in full. Should you wish, we will attempt to book you into another local B&B/Cabin.
Check In: Check in is 3:00pm-9:00pm. If you would like to check in early, please CALL FIRST to see if your room is available earlier. A $20 per hour fee will be charged for check-ins after 9:00pm unless prior arrangements have been made. Guest will read, sign, and date Terms of Agreement at check in if not already on file.
Check Out: Check out is by 11:00am EST. Requests for late check-outs should be made on arrival. Leave room/suite in reasonable state of cleanliness. Turn off all lights, fans, and appliances. Set the thermostat to 80 (A/C) or 60 (heat) as applicable. Lock all doors and windows. Close and lock exterior door upon final exit. Ensure door is locked. Deposit guest room key(s) in locked box outside the kitchen door of the B&B. Guest will be charged a $30 fee for lost or missing keys.
Rates: Room rates are based upon double occupancy and continental breakfast. Each additional person in room will be assessed an additional $15 charge. Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Rates do not include applicable state sales tax (7%). TIS has the right to inspect the number of people in your party. Any party exceeding the maximum occupancy is reason for eviction without reimbursement of payment.
Damages: Guest agrees to properly care for TIS property and agrees to restrict its use to only those people included in the group. The Guest and anyone included in the group shall pay for any loss or damage caused to TIS. The Innkeeper shall be the sole judge as to the condition of TIS and its property after Guests have left. Abuse, neglect, damage of any kind, including abnormal wear is the sole responsibility of the Guest. Please report any accidental breakages or spills so they can be repaired or cleaned up as soon as possible. TIS has the right to charge for missing items.
Breakfast: Continental breakfast will be served from 8:00am-10:00am on the guest bar in the B&B kitchen. Guests needing breakfast earlier should let the Innkeeper know in order to accommodate their schedule.
Gazebo/Patio: The gazebo and patio area is for use of TIS Guests and is available for rent for small gatherings, i.e. weddings, reunions, meetings. Guests wishing to use the gazebo/patio for group gatherings of non-guests will have to make reservations in advance and pay the rental rate.
Smoking: TIS is a 100% smoke free environment. Absolutely no smoking is allowed in any of the buildings or on the grounds of TIS. If cigarette butts are found littered on the property, Guest will be charged a $10 per day cleanup fee. Please go off the premises to smoke and take proper care to put out cigarettes and dispose of butts in an appropriate receptacle. If a Guest smokes on the premises, they will be asked to leave immediately without a refund. If a Guest smokes in a Guest room, they will be asked to leave immediately without a refund AND be responsible for a $250 cleaning fee.
Quiet Time: Out of respect for all of our guests, quiet time is to be observed Sunday through Thursday from 10:00pm to 7:00am and Friday and Saturday from 11:00pm to 8:00am. We have guests that are here on business and must get up early to go to work. If complaints of excessive noise during quiet time are received from other guests those in violation will be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
Pets: For the comfort and well-being of all our guests, we have adopted a no-pet policy. If a guest does bring a pet into their room or suite, they will be asked to leave immediately without a refund AND be responsible for a cleaning fee ($50 minimum).
Coolers/Ice Chests: Prohibited in guest rooms and suites. Coolers may be left on porches, gazebo, or patio only.
Lost & Found: Items that have been left behind are placed in the Lost & Found. If not claimed within 90 days items are donated to St. Vincent De Paul store. We are happy to return claimed items. Guest will be responsible for all packaging and shipping costs.
Guests: The Guest is responsible for the conduct of everyone in the group. TIS has a zero tolerance for disrespectful behavior. Any complaints by the neighbors and/or other guests will result in Guests being asked to leave immediately without a refund. Innkeeper reserves the right to terminate the balance of any guest’s stay without refund for any behavior that is in violation of these Terms, or that disrupts the operation of TIS. Guests asked to leave will be charged for the entire reservation. Other fees may be assessed related to missing or damaged property, cleaning fees, loss of room use fees as appropriate and determined by TIS.
